There was a giant who stomped on the world’s edge
As darkness wouldn’t let go.
That was when a pack of strong men and strong women,
Henceforth known as giant-killers,
Cut the giant’s Achilles and then his throat.
The sun rose to a red tint.

“Ahh,” said the sun,
“I almost drowned in the darkness.”
“I know. We, too,” said the giant-killers.
“I sent my dear friend here,” said the sun.
“A giant to protect you from the long night.
Have you seen him?”

All they saw was their selves.
